J.Crew Stores: Additional 40% Percent Off Sale

An enormous "thanks!" goes to J. Crew Insider who was kind enough to share with us that her local J.Crew store has just put up signs indicating an additional "40% off" sale items. Can you believe that? 40% off! (I have only seen 30% off at the very most.)

J. Crew Insider also said that the "additional 40% off" sale should be true for all stores, store wide. :)

Will you be planning on visiting your local J.Crew if they are offering an additional 40% off? Or do you not need to visit the store since your your store already sent back the "good" sale merchandise?

P.S. Thanks again to J. Crew Insider!

  1. whoa - which store was this? Why aren't they offering 40% off online?

I don't think I'll be heading in any time soon since all the good stuff allegedly got sent back though...

  2. Kater: 40% off sale items online would be phenomenal of J.Crew! I hope they would consider doing that one day. :)

I will find out if the 40% off is just for one J.Crew or will be for all J.Crew. The moment I find out, I will update the post. :) So exciting! :)

  3. I just called my Burlingon, MA B&M store and they said they are also having the 40% off sale. I'm debating on whether or not to attend, perhapes if I had known sooner, I would have gone during my lunch hour! And as a by-the-way, I've seen Fall 2008 merchandise ALREADY posted for sale on eBay!!!

  4. Has anyone seen the flowy bateau jersey dress at a store in the slate color in an x-small? I called my store today and they don't have it. I just can't pay $88 for it online when I know I can get it cheaper.

  5. Hearing about the 40% off in B&M stores...but only 20% off online..and that too, on stale products which have not had their prices lowered to match stores....is really depressing.

JCrew is really putting us, their loyal online shoppers, at a severe disadvantage. I used to think I was getting comparable buys online...but now I have to rethink whether it is a good idea to buy JCrew stuff online (unless it is new and I am paying fullprice).

  6. Crewgal: Thanks for letting us know that your local store in MA is carrying the 40% off sale. That is very promising for the rest of our local stores carrying the sale too. :)

Cori: I think the Westport CT stores might have it. I know that Westport had it on Friday of last week. I bought the last one (slate in XS) from the New Haven store. (Although the New Haven, CT store might have the XS in navy and red. Worth a try.) :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Cori, the Metairie, LA store had it last week as well. Worth a try!

  8. When I phoned the Michigan Avenue store, I was told most sale items were shipped away on Tuesday. My local store in Orland Park said that they have very little sale left; it is indeed an additional 40% off as of noon today. I'll probably stop by the local store tomorrow evening to take a look.

  9. I was in my store this morning, and it was still 30%. Maybe they changed after lunch?

cori: Charleston, SC, (843 534 1640) still had several dresses left, although I didn't check the sizes.

  10. The store near me must be a Tier 1 store or something. It never has any sale items and carries most of the J.Crew Collection items. So I never look for the sales cause there aren't any.

40% off an item that you really want is amazing, if you can get it. It's probably a ploy to get shoppers to look at the same old stale merchandise. JCrew is not doing it for me these days.

  11. Hello Ladies: Just updated the post, to say that the 40% off should be for all J.Crew stores. That is just fantastic!

Again, my "thanks!" to J.Crew Insider who shared this with all of us. Much appreciated!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. So I can just call one of the stores and have the dress shipped to me? Do they charge normal J.Crew shipping?

    ReplyDelete
  13. cori: Yes, you can call a store and they'll ship it to you. I ordered a fiona jacket from a store in AZ and I live in SC. It took 1 1/2 weeks to get to me, but I still got it with the extra discount. I paid 5.95 for shipping - I think it depends on the total cost of the item. Some on here have received free shipping from stores.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi Cori! That is about right: just call the store, ask if they have the item (give them a description in addition to the item number because they have to go search for it). Then they will take your information down to ship the dress to you. The stores charge the same shipping fees as online (I know- still expensive), even though they use a different mail carrier. But the stores are much more reliable than the website is right now. You can even call back tomorrow for a tracking number. Good luck with the dress! I hope you find it. :)

  15. You know, had I bought sale items this morning, I would be very unhappy about the 30% increasing to 40% and not being told about it. Maybe they didn't know that was coming? There were lots of people buying sale items and I didn't hear anyone mention that the discount was going to change. I guess either they didn't know or they hope their customers don't find out.

  16. cori-I was in the bronton Lkes store this mroning and they had a ton of the flowy jersey bateau dresses, but I am not sure of the sizes. their # is 610-358-2001. good luck

  17. Ok...I called out to my store in Orlando, and they ARE one of the stores that is having the additional 40% off...BUT they really did not have much left when I was in there yesterday, so I doubt that I will go back in to get anything...I could call for them to ship something to me, like the Piper Tank they have in Gray and Navy, but then the shipping charges would apply, and that makes the deal not as good. They did have a TON of Emily Blouses if anyone is looking and alot of the Flowy Jersey Bateau Dresses, as well...oh yeh, they had a bunch of the Jamie Jackets seen Here , if anyone is interested. The number is 407-226-9732. :) I will continue to wait it out...there isn't really anything else I want right now, other than another Joelle Cami...so anyone let me know if you come across them at one of your stores!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I want to go to see what they have but I really don't need to and shouldn't. J Crew is in the process of messing up my order for a Katie jacket AGAIN!!!! I just don't know if it's worth it.

Anyone try on the polka dot popover blouse? That's what I am looking at but don't want to be annoyed.

    ReplyDelete
  19. math teacher--mentioning the fiona is killing me. I want one and can't find one other than on EBay....

    ReplyDelete
  20. tired memphian: I just called my store and had them hold a polka dot popover for me :) I tried it on last time I was there so I would know what size to get if/when it went on sale. I really liked it - it's different from anything else I have. It's airy and comfortable yet flattering, and would look cute under a Kelly jacket or a sweater. I found it true to size.

    ReplyDelete
  21. tired memphian: I want a fiona too. so badly. I have the navy one, so I'm lucky in that regard. And I like the new wool one for fall, but think the canvas one is better for my climate.

    arghhhh...

  22. Very excited, just got off the phone with the b&m here in St. Louis, and they are offering the additional 40% off! Their sale selection (esp. for men) can be hit or miss, but I can't pass this up. I'll be heading there this afternoon! :) Thanks for the FYI!

  23. hey everyone. the east lansing, MI store has their clearance at 40% off. a mish-mash, lots of perfect fit blue tees and shorts. nothing too exciting, although i did get a silk tank with woven bow around the top (can't remember the official name of it).

this store had all colors but black in the ecole jacket. most of the sizes were small, and i tend to need larger sizes which quickly sell out in stores. i liked the sleeves and cuffs, but the weight and collar isn't quite as great as the bella, IMHO. i passed on the ecole for now.

i did, however, get a grey snap-up wool cardigan in a chunkier knit with little pockets in the front. i haven't seen this in the catalog, so....there may be some great stuff in stores that we haven't seen yet. the sales rep told me that the Ann Arbor, MI store is getting their fall jewelry in next week, so maybe all of the larger stores will be getting jewelry next week, too. ? One can hope...

    ReplyDelete
  24. I tried the EXTRA20 on the polkadot popover and the Jamie jacket, both of which are on sale but not final sale, and it worked. the thing is, it would only save me like $2 after shipping. I'd rather pay $2 more and get it from the store ... that way I wouldn't have to worry about J.Crew's wonky web antics :P I called my store and had them put both on hold for me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. michelle: the store in Orlando has the Jamie Jackets for 40% off...I think they were priced at $79.99, and then the extra 40% now. 407-226-9732. :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. tired memphian and kater: since the stores have sent most of their sale stuff back, I expect to see a few show up online in the next couple of weeks, especially since they had one show up in the am last week. My b&m had the new one, but I didn't like it as much as the canvas one. I probably should have tried it on, but this way I won't want one if I had liked it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I went to my b&m this morning. They didn't have many sale items left. They had a lot of the new items, but not all of them. I was looking forward to trying on the tartine cardigan, but they didn't have them. I did try on the cord pencil skirt, which I love, and while the waist isn't completely flat, it doesn't stick out too much. I will definitely be buying one (or two or three) once they go on sale. I also tried on the ecole and didn't like the way it laid on my chest (as others have mentioned). While I think the ruffle herringbone is cute, it's not as cute in person nor was it flattering on me. Way too boxy. I love the golden yellow cords, but then I have the yellow summerweight pants from last summer, so yellow pants don't bother me. Their flats are not always comfortable, but I tried on the Italian ballet flats in a 1/2 size bigger than what I wear, and they were so comfortable. Again, I will buy a pair when they go on sale. Many jackets were not in stock, although the sa said they would be getting more in the next couple of weeks. I did score on two adorable crewcut items for my niece - critter embroidered cords with horses and an adorable full skirt with blue and green horses. Can you tell she loves horses?

I had to pre-order the tartine, and they wouldn't honor the 10% plus 15% teacher discount, so the manager gave me a $10 gift card, which I then used on the crewcut purchase! (I did go ahead and apply for a J Crew card, although I will probably rarely use it. I try to stay cc free and use only the debit, hence the reason I can't buy as much as I'd like.)

Sorry for the long post (and I posted this elsewhere also).

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks, math teacher :o)

I just keep checking just in case I can find a fiona online. I am not a big fan of the heavier fiona. The canvas would be perfect for me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi All! :) The Fiona was actually available online again this morning (yes, I DID check...poor lab rat syndrome, I guess)in size 4 in both Pale Almond and White...however, when I tried to checkout it said it was sold out and removed from my basket already, and I tried to check out immediately, too. Not sure if it was a fluke or not, but was probably best for me, at least, since I later found out my last order was short shipped, so I am done ordering anything online for awhile. It may be worth checking tomorrow morning if you really, really want it, though. ;)

  30. mom-nyc said: "JCrew is really putting us, their loyal online shoppers, at a severe disadvantage."

I totally agree! I live in Canada, and get this, they're not shipping "internationally" anymore. This is an email I just got this afternoon:

"This is Deronda from J. Crew. We wanted to let you know that international shipping is unavailable right now. We?re upgrading our systems and will be able to ship internationally again very soon. We apologize for the inconvenience and will ship your order as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience."

(Yes, the "?" in "We?re" is exactly how it appeared in the email I got... very professional! lol)

Has anyone else had their credit card charged for a cancelled/unshipped order? I have, and now I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company. What a hassle!!

I think I have to say that, at least for now, J. Crew sucks! Please, J. Crew, get your act together!

I guess there's a good reason J. Crew's stock is hovering at it's lowest point in a year and a half.

  31. FFM: Thanks for the heads up about the Jamie jacket. I went ahead and called the store at KOP. They have both the polka dot popover blouse and the Jamie jacket for an additional 40% off, and are holding both for me :) KOP is farther from me, but that Willow Grove store is the pits. The KOP associate was so helpful and nice ... it's definitely worth the drive.

  32. Kind of off-topic, but I know several ladies on here have the Keaton pants. They say dry clean only, but I really had a feeling that the material could be washed. I put washed them on cold and dried them on low... they are fine! Just thought I'd help others save some money on dry cleaning expenses :-)

  33. The only time I remember a bigger discount was right before Christmas 2006, when sale items were an additional 50% off, and NOT final sale because I wound up having to return something. I know it was then because a) I almost had to restart my heart as I was so overwhelmed, and b) I was waiting for it to happen again last Christmas but it never did. I'll have to pop by my B&M J.Crew tomorrow to see if there's anything left worth buying. Thanks for the heads up!

    ReplyDelete
  34. raj, I also live in Canada, thanks a lot for sharing your experience! I had no idea they weren't shipping to Canada at the moment. I got the impression from some comments posted here that they were, but maybe those were exceptions.

I can't believe this isn't noted on their website as it is rather major!

It sounds like they will charge Canadian orders, but can't send them? Or will just hold off and keep your money till whenever? Ridiculous.

  35. The Stanford (Palo Alto, CA) store had lots of the jersey bateau dresses for $59.99, in all colors and sizes - except XS! Also, the sale section is nonexistant - a few racks of the usual items (Piper tanks, knit tanks, etc.) and a table of picked over chino shorts and pants. Half the women's section used to be sale items and now it's all new stuff. :) Which can be good and bad.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I saw a bunch of the bateau dresses in Bridgewater Commons in NJ a few days ago...

  37. my stores seem to have nothing in the sale section anyway...if they only hadn't sent everything back :(

  39. Math Teacher: I tried on the cord pencil skirt and thought that the clasp DID stick out too much. Maybe I tried a bad pair and should go back again. :)

However, I did try on the herringbone Fiona and loved it. I haven't tried on the summer Fiona, so cannot compare. I thought it was a little boxy but still very cute. I preferred it buttoned, though I know many people like the summer Fiona unbuttoned. Unbuttoned, it definitely got into a "weird drape" territory.

Another thing that I liked that I didn't expect to like was the cotton taffeta knee-length skirts. Mine had these flattering pleats and a bow tie. With the Fiona and a white button down, it looked pretty adorable!

I tried on their corduroy pants and got the same problem - fits in the waist, too baggy in the thighs. I feel almost like I should give up on buying pants, ever. :) No store I've ever been to seems to be able to solve this problem!

  40. If anyone sees buttery twill trousers in size 2 during their sale quest please please tell me - rlm26@case.edu And if you can put a hold for Rachael - any color but that papaya color.

I was at both stores in the last two days and they only had a few pairs of shorts and some favorite fit tanks! They said they sent everything back but those basics. I hope someone finds a gem somewhere - wonderful feeling to find a bargain!

  41. Does the Jamie jacket fit similarly to the Candace jacket? I tried on a Large Candace and it was much to big, but I am not sure about the Jamie, if I would take a Medium, or maybe small or large?

    Anyone with any help, thanks!

  42. the stores in pleasanton and san francisco, ca have %50 off pretty often...i got both the waverly jacket (this past spring) and the super 120's abby jacket (after christmas) for $50 each after the %50 off discount...i was pretty excited about those deals :)

speaking of the abby jacket...it got more expensive...it's $230 now and it used to be $195 (maybe because it used to be listed as super 120's "flannel"?). on the other hand, i noticed some of the graphic slub t's have gotten cheaper...go figure ;)

  43. CORI: A member wanted me to let you know that in case you did not find the extra small in the Flowy bateau dress- there is one for you on hold at the Chevy Chase store that is a "small".

  45. melanie: did you try the matchstick cords or the bootcut cords? Maybe the matchstick ones would work better for you. It's okay with me if others doesn't like the cord skirt because then there will be plenty left for me when it goes on sale. :)

  47. hi all, i have a question about the additional 20/40% off. does this apply to newly marked down items? i am eyeing the Daisy eyelet tunic top
item #: 93616, which i noticed just got marked down to $79.99 within the last 2-3 days (it was still full price when I checked sunday night). If i could get it for $48 that would be AMAZING, as i almost bought it at the $128 full price last week. thanks!

  48. I'm looking for a deco dots Zoey dress in a size 0. The only color I can't stand is the yellow. Has anyone seen any in a store? If so, please let me know, and I will call and order it! I, too, live near the Orland Park store. I called them this morning and heard the same thing: very little sale stuff left in stock. But the people who work there are AWESOME.

  52. Girls that leave outside U.S. I tryed to call to J.Crew using their number from web-site, but seems it's works only if you call from U.S. Is there any J.Crew number to call them from other country?

  53. anonymous said: "raj, I also live in Canada, thanks a lot for sharing your experience!"

You're welcome! I know that I'm going to stay away from J. Crew's web site until (i) I get my money back for my charged but cancelled order; and (ii) they finish their site upgrades.

You can also forget about any quality customer support at this time. I got this automated email (instead of a real reply to my inquiry):

We want to let you know that your email is important to us. We have been experiencing a much higher email volume than normal, and want to be sure we get back to you in a timely manner.

If you still have a question or concern that you are waiting for us to assist you with, please give us a call at 800 562 0258 and we will take care of it for you. We truly appreciate your patience.

    Best,

The Customer Service Team at J.Crew

So I tried calling them, and after waiting 10+ minutes (and the voice prompt telling me, basically, that they feel my pain re: the upgrades but that it'll all be worth it), I gave up. sigh

  55. Kater -- Many thanks! Found the number on the J Crew web site -- at least it's still good for that kind of thing. I will call them in a few minutes. When I do, I will be away from my computer (and just lost my Blackberry), so I can't post and tell you if they had any of those deco dot Zoey dresses. I'll post again tomorrow. If anyone else knows a store that might have some, please do let me know -- I'm worried that my luck is bad today, considering I lost my phone, among other things.

  71. Alexis: Has anyone mentioned new sale items?

Also yes, one day last year, I think it was the day before thanks giving they had an additional 50% off sale. I got purses for $12, Driving Mocs for $40, a Dress for $25 (the wool strapless sweater dress), and a merino sweater for $25... that was a fabulous day! I hope they do it again this year!

  72. hey lynn, thanks for the info about the keaton pants! I actually need to shrink them up a tad and I was nervous washing them would ruin the fabric. Do you think they'd hold up ok to a hot dryer in your opinion?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Blumre: Kellyanne did mention a new sale item. the Daisy eyelet tunic top (item 93616), which was reduced to $79.99 from $128 in the past couple of days.

Those items at those prices are really fantastic! Purses for $12 and the dress for $25 is a fabulous find for sure! :)

  74. I don't live near a store. Does anyone know if the White Denim Trouser (item #92792) is available in-store, or only available online? I'm still nervous about ordering online, with the issues they still seem to be having, and may attempt to locate the pants in a store and have them shipped.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Oh...also... Does anyone know if the white denim trousers run true-to-size, or should I order up or down? Thanks for any info you have!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Blumre: the Jamie jacket (item 95244) was reduced from $138 to $79.99, and the flamenco dot popover blouse (item 94196) was reduced from $98 to $59.99. They are in stores for an additional 40% off. I know this because I have them both on hold at my store ;)

    ReplyDelete
  77. elizabeth: Charleston, SC (843 534 1640) had several pairs of the white denim trousers. I didn't check to see what sizes they had, though, and I didn't try them on. Sorry. You could call and ask the sa how they fit if no one here knows.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Erin-
It depends how much you need them to shrink. I noticed a *slight* shrinkage from doing them on low. I let them dry completely though- I didn't take them out when they were damp. I would say try medium heat first, because they do have linen in them. They were wrinkled coming out of the dryer, but ironing them sure beats paying for dry cleaning (not to mention the harsh chemicals they use)!

    ReplyDelete
  79. math teacher: Thank you for the info. They apparently have since run out at the Charleston store (or so I was told), but she was able to tell me that they run true to size (in case anyone else was curious) so that was helpful. Thanks again!

  80. Michelle-What store are you going to? I couldnt find it in an earlier post. I love that dot shirt...

    ReplyDelete
  81. laverte: I am going to the King of Prussia store (KOP): 610 265 0210.

    ReplyDelete
  82. jcrewmommy: I wish I had seen your post before heading to the store; I would have paid closer attention to the women's sales selection. :) For what it's worth, the women's sale area was crowded for a Thursday afternoon, so I guess that indicates a good sign that there are (or were) some good deals to be found. As for the men's selection, there didn't seem to be many new additions compared to the selection I saw when I was there a week and a half ago, but I couldn't pass up buying a couple of things with the extra markdown.

    I scored a pair of cargo shorts ($29 + 40% off) and a zip-front fleece hooded sweatshirt ($39 +40% off).

Yes, unfortunately, the only b&m in St. Louis is the store at Plaza Frontenac. I think they often sell through popular items quickly because they're the only store in the area, making it a challenge to ever find a good selection of sale (and often even full-price) merch.

Let us know if you find anything good on your shopping trip! :)

  89. elizabeth: it's hard to believe they sold all of them because there were so many of them. But, maybe with the extra %, they went quicly.

In the sale section, Charleston, SC, also had several pairs of favorite fit cropped in british khaki and white. Lots of tees, tanks, and then a few odds and ends. No jackets, though. No shoes, just flip flops.

  90. Lots of shoes on sale if you do a random search.

  91. HAHA FFM your post made me crack up. I could just see you in mom/teacher mode (since you home school right?) and being very insistent and pointing to something. As in you were telling us all to go and search them out! HAHA you are hysterical!

Don't worry if I see it I will hunt it down for you! ;)

  92. FabulousFloridaMommy: I saw a whole bunch of those Crystal-button starlet jacket in bright azul at the Westport, CT store this past Friday. I am not sure what sizes they would have left though. I hope you are able to find it in your size/color! :)

  93. blumre: that IS pretty funny...I actually didn't mean it to sound that way...I just thought I would show links to pics in case someone doesn't know what they are (unlikely, but you never know)...didn't mean to sound bossy, if that's how it came across! :)

alexis: THANKS! I will give the Westport store a call...any idea how much they were?

Jcrewbug: I know what you mean about checking this blog often. I always check the comments to see in case I missed something super juicy. :)

Jacquie: Thanks for letting us know. I will definitely be keeping an eye online in the next few weeks. :)

So if the stores are offering 40% off sale items would that include the Flowy jersey bateau dress that was reviewed the other day?? I really would like to try that dress...buy certainly not for $88. Does anyone know of any stores that have that dress? I really really appreciate your help!!!

  100. FFM...I just returned a joelle cami size 0 in royal purple to the buffalo store (716) 684-8189 last weekend (I think, ah could've been earlier than that?). but might be worth a shot?

  104. So I went to the b&m store in Boston in Copley Place and the sale section was pretty picked through. I was able to get some sort of summer jacket for $16, the jamie jacket and the polka dot popover blouse. Apparently, I got the last one in the store because they had sent the rest back and mine happened to still be on display. Also, I was surprised at how great it looked on me. It's super cute and it was only $32.

I loved the fall stuff that they had out. The wool Fiona jacket is gorgeous and I saw them in a light Flame and some sort of pale yellowish orange. I absolutely loved the orange. It is super chic. They also have various super soft sweaters. The trouser jeans are very comfortable. I'm going to stalk these items now. Hopefully, they'll go on sale at some point when my size and desired colors are still available.

  105. FFM: they still had the starlet jacket in pink (i didn't see any blue) in the san francisco store on market street...sorry, i don't remember the price, just that there were still a few of them...also, they still had some lana tops in grey and mustard...this was on Tues. hope this helps! :)

i can't keep up with all these posts anymore...alexis, you have created quite a successful blog! :)

  106. So this may sound ultra J Crew psycho but I am anxiously awaiting 9:59 pm. So they moved the sale to end then from Monday and I'm wondering if they had something in mind. Anyone else as crazy as me?

    ReplyDelete
  107. ccbmum: I know what you mean about so many posts & comments! I can barely keep up with it myself. :) But its just because today there was quite a bit of news which meant a lot more posts than usual. I am sure tomorrow will have far less posts/news- which will allow me some time to catch up. ;)

  110. I bought the bright azul Starlite jacket when the additional 30% online was going on...I got it really fast...(just got a July 2 order on the same day...go figure) and I really like it. The blue is a gorgeous color. I am glad I didn't wait any longer on this one:)

  111. I am looking for a Seaglass Piper tank in size 8 if anyone sees one. I don't live anywhere near a store...

    ReplyDelete
  112. I was at the B&M today where there is an additional 40% off. They have lots of Jamie (navy xs - l), Candace(orange) all sizes, Piper (gray 0-4, and navy, 0-6), slub cotton lawn skirt in red and mustard (0-8), lots of staples- shorts and shirts (polos, tees, shirred vneck, etc)in various colors/sizes, and capri pants and capri sandals (gold, silver). They must be consolidating because when I was there last week, they did not have the same selection.

  113. I went in this afternoon and they had no polka dot popovers. They sent them all back :o(

I'll call the stores mentioned tomorrow morning. I really think it would be a cute top for work.

If anyone sees a 6 please hold for Alexis and let me know where it is.
    Thanks!

I did try on the herringbone Fiona and it didn't work for me. I really want the canvas.... Boohoo!!!

  115. jliz @ July 24, 2008 4:34 PM re the Jamie Jacket:

I never tried on the Candace Jacket but I did have the Kelly & the Katie(?) earlier in the season in Mediums and they were too bulky.

I used to say I was a Medium or 6 in JCrew's jackets & shirts but have changed to say I am a Small or 4. That being said I almost bought the Jamie in Medium but made myself try the Small & am glad I did.

The Jamie size small is approximately 22-1/2" from shoulder seem to bottom of jacket. The belt ties higher up on the rib cage too so if you have some extra fluff in the belly region you can still tie this & it will look nice. It really is pretty & feminine, the fit, the length, the collar & the 3/4 sleeves (hit an inch above mid arm) I LOVE IT!

Also, be sure to button the two bottom buttons when you try it on. I tied the belt in the back & that gives me a more slimming look - not that this jacket needs it just my personal preference.
