J.Crew & GQ Have Something To Offer You!

The editors over at GQ Magazine have created three looks using J.Crew's mens clothes and accessories. (Click here to view.) As an added bonus, J.Crew is offering a year's subscription to GQ Magazine with a men's purchase of $100 or more. (Click here for offer & refund details.)

What do you think of the three looks selected? If you are a J.Crew Aficionado, would you rock these looks? If you are a J.Crew Aficionada, would the man in your life wear these outfits?

  1. Funny, but I own about half of what is being shown in these looks. Either I'm right with GQ, or reading the catalog has me buying what is featured. I think that the advertising done with the catalog, along with this blog, is the major force behind my shopping choices.

Too bad I can't get the subrscription, another slam against Canadians. And I have a subscription to both GQ and Details.

  2. JCrew Guy In Canada: I think it is wonderful that you already had the majority of items featured in those looks! :)

It's too bad that Canadian customers are limited with these promotions. I hope Canadian J.Crew Aficionados get some additional special perks too. :)

  3. I actually quite like these three looks, but could never get my husband to wear them...he might do one or two of the pieces at one time, but would never wear the entire outfits as shown...big bummer! I wish he would dress like jcrew guy in canada! :)

  4. FFM: I thought the same things about the three looks. I absolutely love love love them! But I doubt my husband would wear any of them as shown. ;)

  5. Assuming the price of the cardigan isn't much, I might splurge on both that and the shirt. (I knew that white jean I bought a long time ago would come in handy).

Jcrew Guy in Canada: Do you own that sweater vest that's currently your profile pic? I'm absolutely in love with it, but can't justify spending full price.

  6. Hey sam, own is a funny word. It is currently on it's way to me so yeah I do own it. I can definitely give you a review of it and some feedback about once it arrives.

I find that J.Crew sweaters and the vest fit great. The arm holes are high and they are fitted without being too tight.

Hope this helps you. let me know if you have other questions.

  7. Alexis and ffm: is it wonderful, or just being a little loose with my credit card? But thanks so much. I really do like the vests J.Crew makes, I have two of the suit style ones and they fit great. One in chocolate cord and the other is a washed pin striped navy wool. Great with jeans or dress 'em up for work.

  8. They look OK but I'd choose a dark wash jean, the Red Wings boots they are offering, one of the work shirst, the down vest and/or the oilcloth field jacket.

  10. For me, I would switch any of those shirts for a solid color one. I'm not a fan of their tartan shirt.

Good news, my order will be home tomorrow or Monday and I just recently order it on Labor Day. Also CS was nice enough to give me both my free shipping and 15% off. :)

  11. Agreed, I hate the tartan shirt too. The suit is great though. As for the other selections, they seem to be put together without much thought.
