J.Crew Factory Email: Are you resort ready? We are.

"Thanks!" to Marietta, HeidiG, & Jaden, who shared the following email J.Crew sent today.

The email announces that the Resort Collection is now available at J.Crew Factory Stores with 30% off select items. Moreover, Factory Stores are currently offering 50% off select Holiday styles. (It seems like a lot of percentages are being thrown around here.) ;)

Are you planning to visit J.Crew Factory Stores to check out the Resort and Holiday Collections? Are there any pieces you are hoping to see? If so, please share! :)

  1. Sorry - OT, but has anyone seen all the comments J.Crew is getting on facebook? Do you think they even read those? I hope they do. People are really expressing some of the same problems we have discussed her.

  2. I was just in the Jeffersonville outlet on Saturday and didn't see any resort items. I tried on a lot of items that I really liked...but they didn't like me. I ended up on getting myself a serge pencil skirt. All the clearance was an additional 20% off. I bought mostly men's stuff for gifts.

  3. DinDin,
Was on there reading comment for the first time this weekend. I couldn't believe all the sentiments that are like this blog's comments!

  5. Seems like the facebook chatter is confirming that even the more casual, non-JCA JC customer is noticing and experiencing the same problems with quality and service noted on this blog. DinDIn I also wonder if JC is monitoring that ...

  6. My outlet store got a few resort wear items in last week, some shorts, some 3/4 sleeve scoopneck tees, white matchstick jeans, a couple of beach dresses, some flipflops, and a beach tunic. I'm not going on any vacations this winter, but I got the white jeans since they were so cheap!

  7. Was in a regular store today and they had some resort. Nothing I had to have.

I wasn't planning to go to the crewlet, but I might to pick up some things I missed last year. I liked last year's resort...

  8. Sorry OT ... Standard & Poor's just upgrading J Crew Group's rating outlook from "neutral" to "positive." More positive business performance for JC ... good financial press, less incentive to offer promos, sales, and invest in quality and service?

  9. I'm heading to the AC outlet on Friday. If anyone has ever been there and could give me a review, I would love you forever. I've never been.

No resort wear for me. I will be checking out the gear that can be worn now, in all of the current cold, rainy, dreary glory that is the weather in New Jersey.

  11. mommydearest, AC stands for Atlantic City, NJ. Sorry for the confusion! The offical name of the outlet center is called, "The Walk".

  12. Ah, now I get it! Haven't been to that one. You might check the mall website to get special offers & coupons. JCrew never has them but they usually have a coupon in the book you get at the mall itself for 10% $100? &150? or more. Will you give us a report when you get back? Trying to decide whether it will be worth going! Thanks and hope you find lots of great stuff!!
