Sneak Peek: What's to Come in May! {round 2}

A big "thanks!" to Slastena (check out her "More Sneak Peeks from J Crew's May Catalogue..." post from her {amazing} About All and Nothing at All blog) who shared some more sneak peeks with us. {yey!} There is a little something for everyone in this batch of photos! Just click on any of the images to view them larger.
I am loving most of the Men's items, except for maybe the Paisley pants (but that is just personal preference). The styling looks amazing– clean and classic.
The ladies have some amazing pieces too. The Ikat Dot Blazer (Item 26162) is my favorite– I am crushing on it big time. The Painted Silk Dress (Item 26642) is quite lovely too.
The Julienne Suede Heels (Item 26400) and Multisse Sequin Tank (Item 26234) are also expected to become available in the next roll out.
I was ready for Spring with the weather getting a bit warmer, and seeing the plants & trees starting to bloom. Now I can't wait for Spring with all the new arrivals slated to come.

What are your thoughts? Has your opinion on the upcoming line changed? Are you looking forward to the upcoming Collection?

  4. I love the tank, but not sure it's worth $350. When can we expect this rollout online? I'm so excited! Thanks for sharing the information!!

  5. I LOVE the dress! The tank is beautiful but I normally wouldn't buy sequins, certainly not for the $350 A said it was going for. I can't wait to see how they style those hideous paisley pants!! How do others get these sneak peeks? Thanks for sharing them

  6. LOVE that ikat blazer. I am also the weirdo that loves the men's paisley pant. Engineered Garments from Japan did some last year that my husband and I shared... very weekend hippie vibe...

    I wonder what May's "obsession" will be ;-)

    I was in the shop today; new super light weight linen-y cardigans not in the catalog, new heavy weight blue-stripe bateau tee, new linen blazer jackets with pockets, a summer version of the "bling" cardigan. Must be the beginnings of the new stuff.

  10. A,

    I still did not get my April catalog either. I got November through March just fine. Why can't JCrew get their act together?????

  11. My PS sent me some items that are from this roll out. I'll post pics on my blog soon but my favorite is this mint green tweed skirt! I also got some of the lightweight bling cardigans, the buttons are so cute and they are perfect for summer!

  12. JC totally has my number. Love the sequin tank, but $350 is out of the question. So it automatically makes the sequined raye tank seem like a bargain at $78. :)

    OT - as of last night, my Target had new Miss Trish of Capri sandals in women's sizes! Loved her collection last summer, and these are just as cute. I can't find them online, so I'm thinking they might be an in-store only item.

  14. Scored a May catalog at my B&M today. Super cute stuff throughout. Was hoping for the streamers dress that was shown in some of the Spring Preview picks. Wasn't included in the catalog, but maybe it will be online. Hope it is not too overpriced like the sequin tank!

  15. I love the sequin tank, but won't spend that much money and really have no place to wear it! :D

  16. I heart that sequin tank! Makes me kind of wish they would just screen on a printed version on regular cotton for $48 for the rest of us to try to live the dream...
