Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER & FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. I visited, lured in with my 25% off card and ended up with the cashemere v-neck in heather plum on "secret sale" for $99. I love the color and fit. Also picked up a pair of cute tights.

I tried on a bunch of things including the moss tweed skirt but I thought it was too expensive for the quality. It is a really pretty skirt though.

I was hoping to see the Darla ruffle cami IRL but it was nowhere to be found. Has anyone seen/tried it?

Also, the Copley Place store in Boston is awesome now that the men's stuff has moved to a separate store! Huge area for bags, shoes and jewelry. Love the new layout!

  2. Went to the Pentagon City J.Crew on Saturday to use my red card. Picked up the Marot dress in black, which had a $99 tag, but rang up as $69 before the 25% off. Also grabbed the sweet violet cardigan which was on sale in store for a surprising $39. Bought a pair of the bi-stretch wool minnies, but after getting them home I don't really like how they fit (they look like leggings). All the minnies were $20 off in store. And, finally, picked up a few fall-colored perfect fit long sleeve crews at $19 each (2 for $35 online).

  3. I went to the Gateway (SLC) store and picked up the Traversa cardigan in orchid shadow -- it was on promo and I used my 20% off catalog coupon.

I tried on a few sale items but didn't end up taking any of them home. The sweet violet cardigan (which I want desperately!) was marked $49.99, so I'll have to check another store this week to see if it was just mismarked.

  4. I didn't get my white/red (Mickey card) so I did not visit.

I refuse to pay 25% more when I know others in line with the card are paying 25% less.

No grudges on the JCAs who got this card, and congrats to you all but I will not be giving a single dime to JC if they don't want my business.

    Happy Monday everyone!

  6. I stopped by my B&M today and picked up a grey cashmere v-neck, which I thought was a pretty good deal for $99 and then an extra 25% off with my red card.

I also got a few pairs of tights which they had on promo for 25% off if you buy 3 or more. With my red card, it was also a pretty good deal. :)

I mainly went in to use the red phone. CS emailed me back and said that you could absolutely use the 25% off card on red phone orders for any item not in the store, including online-only items. So, I ordered the Wool-cashmere Icon Trench in camel, and the Colletta Coat in spicy russet. The icon trench coat is on back-order though...so I won't see it for a while.

Has anybody tried the wool-cashmere icon trench? It looks great on the model, and kind of frumpy on the mannequin.

  7. I stopped by yesterday and tried on the Glen Plaid Minnies, toothpick cords and a few sale items. I was going to come back and get the cords until I went to UO and found a similar pair of skinny cords that were cheaper, plus I had a merch credit for UO. So, no JC for me. Lots of stuff on sale though. Also, received my Elan Cupros in the mail today so I guess that's my crewfix for the week :)
