J.Crew Warehouse Sale {going on now!}

"Thanks!" to Meghan (in this post) who let us know that J.Crew is having another warehouse sale. She shared the following:
There is a warehouse sale in Richmond, VA in the TJ Maxx shopping center on Broad Street from Oct. 7th-17th, 2010.
Moreover, there is a post over at Richmond Bargains (click here) that shares some valuable information including the (amazing!) price list for items and even what to expect.

Coupon Info: Richmond Bargains is also sharing the "30% off Friends & Family” coupon for the Warehouse Sale. Just send an email to richmondbargains at gmail dot com and they will email back the pdf coupon.

The location & hours are:
Former Good Wood store
TJMaxx shopping center
9125 W Broad St
Richmond, VA

10am to 8pm now through October 17th

They are selling coats for $50 and leather handbags for $30!!! For these prices, I might just book a flight down there tomorrow!

Congrats to all those in the area!!! :)

  1. Ha. Wonder if I could convince my hubby that a stop is worth it on Friday after we grab some BBQ. LOL. Probably not as he was gracious enough to take me to Tysons this last weekend to have a little fun with the 25% off card. Richmond can get me the next time. :)

Enjoy, fellow Virginians. (And any others willing to travel to our lovely neck of the woods.)

  3. I just came home (to Richmond) for fall break and saw this post! Probably will be spending my last day home tomorrow at the warehouse sale, thanks so much for the info, and hopefully midterm grades will not be too affected since this is how I choose to spend my study time! :)

  5. Wow...interesting. I am all set to attend the Lynchburg Clearance Center Warehouse Sale on October 23rd and now this!!! Just too much temptation. Me thinks I will wait until the 23rd and Lynchburg to finally get that much awaited look inside the *real* J. Crew warehouse!

  10. This makes me want to cry since I have no way of getting there. :-/ If I were within an hour of it, I would certainly develop a mysterious illness and be unable to go to work today. :-P

  11. I went twice over the weekend. The first time (also the first day of the sale) there were a TON of coats, almost all were Lady Day Coats or Pea Coats from last year. Not a lot of colors, Lady Day were either ivory or black and Pea Coats Ivory, Black, or Navy. There were a few other coats mixed in. There was a lot of cashmere, but almost all in XS sizes. The second day there were very few coats or cashmere left and all I really found were pants. Everything is in cardboard boxes and you have to put in a lot of time and effort to look through it all.

I had a good time Friday, Saturday was a little disappointing. They told me they put new stuff out as it is needed, so maybe I just picked a bad day. I live an hour away and won't be driving out again.

Prices are great if you can find something you like.

Men's stuff is pretty much ALL pants. My BF was pretty disappointed in the selection for men, but that's how it is at the Lynchburg one too.

For whoever said they were going to wait to go to Lynchburg- I have been to a sale in the distribution center and it was MUCH smaller than this particular warehouse sale, but in Lynchburg you also have the clearance stores which are much more shoppable (ie, things on racks and sized and grouped together) even though they are more expensive than the warehouse sale.
