  1. I am loving several of the new arrivals this time around. The Plaid Pencil Skirt I mentioned earlier this week is online now and so is the Tweed one.

  2. BRAVO Jcrew, you have managed to put together, In my opinion, your best roll out in YEARS. The nod back to classics is apparent and this mornings roll out added many items to my "want (read need)" list. The new skirts this morning are amazing!

  4. Love the decent size update this morning! Finally snatched the silk casbah blouse at my size with my cardholder's 20% off and freeship.

  5. I'm with you, Pansy. The update today was awesome. FINALLY got my cashmere stripe sweater dress, the silk driving scarf in the dotted print (already have the gorgeous floral), and the jewelry roll for a gift. Not bad! Soooo happy to cross another item off my ever shrinking wishlist.

  6. My love goes out to the JCA blog: Thanks, Alexis, for enabling the mobile function. It's great for my little iPod.

  7. I moaned last week about getting yellow crewcuts pants in place of my african violet popover from a recent order. I was able to find the popover almost immediately on a popback. I re-ordered it and crossed my fingers. It arrived 3 days ago, and it's perfect. In new condition and just what I expected. Plus, the refund for the s&h charges came through very quickly, and the store associate was super easy to deal with when I took the pants back.

  9. To echo everyone else on this topic so far: thank you J Crew for a return to what you do best! Still needs some tweeking, but it is great to see the pretty colors again and the clean lines in the designs. I remember feeling so bummed this time last year with all of the drab olive greens and grays they were pumping out, along with the sequin/ruffle overload. I am beginning to feel ok about spending $$ at J Crew again.

  10. I am looking to love my new PS. I found out that my old, supremely awesome PS was moving and had to give up her PS job and I was VERY nervous that whoever would take over and not be able to be as great. I was mistaken, as I had to write her with a pretty major issue this morning (my very much longed for pre-order is possibly not even going to be mine and I am on a waitlist--ouch) and she wrote back nearly instantly (around 8:30 am) assuring me she and her supervisor would do whatever they could to help me get this very coveted item. So even though I am a bit ticked about the whole pre-order thing not working out (huh, btw?) and being on the waitlist, I couldn't be more pleased with my new PS. You rock, J. Crew on-line customer service!
