J.Crew Email: Last chance: up to 30% OFF & FREE SHIPPING on select women's sweaters

"Thanks!" to Irina, who shared the latest email from J.Crew today.

J.Crew is reminding us about their offer for 30% off select Sweaters for Women (click here to shop online). This offer expires today!

From the comments in the "Up to 30% Off Select Women's Sweaters", it sounded like a lot of the more popular sweaters were either pulled or completely sold out for this promotion. I have a sneaky feeling they will be available and in-stock tomorrow morning. Isn't that how it always goes? ;)

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? Are there any Sweaters you are interested in getting? If so, please share!

  2. Yesterday I received my shipment of size 2 shorts to replace my mis-shipment of size 10. In the package was a note from Mickey about quality, etc and to send a email with comments. I could not resist sending off an email about the much discussed 'double breasted sweater' disaster. Here is the reply I got back:

Hi Josanne, Thanks for reaching out – quality is absolutely our highest priority and we appreciate the call-out. We’ll immediately review this sweater with our merchandising team. Please feel free to let us know if we can help with anything else. Best,

On another note I am obsessed with 'heather spearmint' so ordered the Hadley and Cashmere Henley in this sale.

  3. Yes, I got a cocoon cardi in the marled caramel colour. The price was too good to pass up.

  4. @Rose. I also got the cocoon cardi in marled camel. I absolutely love it. It is perfectly oversized/slouchy/grandfatherish and I love anything camel colored.

  5. Nothing for me here. I'm sensitive to wool and have enough of it to last for a while. All the cotton sweaters I love are already in my closet and I've worn most of them.

  6. I got the cocoon cardigan too, in the grey colour- thought about it too long and the camel colour was sold out in my size. Can anyone tell me, if I order something today that won't ship until later, do I get charged for it now or when it actually ships? Thanks!

  7. West Coast Crewner,
I was talking to a personnal shopper who said that J Crew won't charge until the item is shipped. I never checked my statement, but I believe that is the policy.

  8. LauraK: yes, I loved it, in a smaller size than usual. Oops! It is marled camel, not caramel.

West Coast Crew'ner: I've checked my card in the past and JC will charge upon shipment only.

  10. Pretty narrow offering. I ordered a Merino turtleneck, but only 2 colors were on promo, so that deflated my shopping enthusiasm quite a bit. I would have bought more. Am also trying the cashmere henley.

  11. Free shipping and great price on the cocoon cardi lured me back. The offer was just too good to pass on.

  12. I did, I placed an order for the Summerby Sweater in natural (and a few other things). Hoping it's as pretty in real life as it looks on the website.

  13. OT but is this sweater on net-a-porter only? I don't see it on J.Crew's site.

  14. Roxy, that is a J.Crew sweater, I saw it a couple of days ago in JC website before the promo, I believe it was on sale... Another disapearing item from their website, I'm pretty sure it will come back tomorrow..

  15. Thanks momof2! That's pretty super sneaky of our friends. Not cool.

  16. I love the cocoon cardi too -- got in navy (full price! duh) but have already worn it a bunch. Glad to see other JCAs like it too!

  17. I still think cashmere styles are overpriced.
