Madewell: Save Up 30% Off (+ free shipping)

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Y (in this post), as well as IRL & Bikbik & Roro, who shared the following offer from Madewell.

Madewell is offering a stacked promotion for the start of the Holiday shopping season:
20% off purchases of $150+
25% off purchases of $250+
30% off purchases of $350+

No code necessary, as it is automatically applied at checkout. {nice!} There is also free shipping on all purchases from Madewell (no minimum, any item!) The fine print of this offer includes:
*Offer is valid on madewell.com orders from Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 12:01am to Sunday, November 27, 2011, 11:59pm ET. Offer is valid at Madewell stores from Friday, November 25, 2011, 12:01am to Sunday, November 27, 2011, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid on telephone orders. 20% off discount applies to purchases of $150 or more before shipping, handling and taxes are added. 25% off discount applies to purchases of $250 or more before shipping, handling and taxes are added. 30% off discount applies to purchases of $350 or more before shipping, handling and taxes are added. Discount is applied automatically at checkout. Offer does not apply to previous purchases, alterations or the purchase of gift cards.
Here is the tricky part (if I am reading it correctly)... This offer starts today for online purchases, but does not start in brick and mortar (B&M) stores until Friday, November 25th. The offer does end for both online and in stores on Sunday, November 27, 2011.

Will you be checking out Madewell? Did you already pick up an item or two? If so, please share!

  1. I'm planning on it but waiting for my size to pop back... has anyone seen any of the wool coats in person? I'd just like to get an idea of the quality and how thick the wool is. TIA!

  2. Rebekah - I went to a Madewell store late October and saw a couple of coats. I was disappointed that they were very thin, but maybe their current coats are heavier? I did like the Hampstead trench, though. If I didn't already own the navy JCrew Matinee trench, I would have wanted the Hampstead. I also noticed that some of the pants were thin and unlined. On a positive note, I really like their blouses and shoes (which seem to run TTS).
