This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. Hi all -

Other JCA's have experienced this too, but I was embarrassed at a recent event that the hem of my wool/silk pencil skirt came completely undone. I've worn the skirt only twice! I carry safety pins so was able to recover but I can't figure out how JC can't manage to put a few stiches here and there to secure a hem.

  2. Check out these two articles from thegloss.com
The first one is 29 Terrible Outfits from J Crews Fall Catalog. The captions under the outfits in the article had me LOLing!!

On the flip side there's a positive article "Best Sales Now: 10 perfect for work items from J Crew starting at $18"

    1. That first article is so funny and I enjoyed reading the comments section. Thanks so much for the post. Pretty much sums up how I feel about JCrew right now. Either totally boring or over the top ugly clothing. I used to LOVE them so much!

  3. Looks like J.Crew changed the online shopping experience for Canadian's again. Prices are now in USD & they are marked up. The double whammy! Another crappy decision!

  4. I went to the Merrimack, NH outlet on Monday and they would not apply the outlet center coupon because they were having a storewide 50% off. I've never had this happen before. The Orlando Vineland Ave outlet was having a storewide 40% off when I was there in September and there were no issues using my outlet center coupon. I've also definitely used a coupon on top of a storewide promo at the Kittery, Maine outlets. Hate this inconsistency. This was my third visit to the Merrimack outlets and it confirmed that I DO NOT like that J.Crew outlet. It's worth paying the sales tax in Kittery or the the drive to Wrentham, MA as the inventory and service at both of those locations are so much better!

  5. J.Crew seriously has gone downhill. Calling into their call center is a nightmare. Their employees really sound like they do not want to be there. Frustrated and quite annoyed I recently googled their call center, and you would be surprised at all of the pictures I found of their employees just lazying around and goofing off. It's no wonder they don't sound interested when I'm attempting to place an order. Their too busy posing with clothes and food at their desk.
