  1. I have a general question & I am hoping someone else has done this & can tell me what I need to do, if anything:

I placed an order earlier for a pair of shoes in the sale section - paid with PayPal. I realized as soon as I hit the submit order button that I'd forgotten to put in the promo code. I called CS & she changed the order - I received an email with the new amount. However, my PayPal account doesn't reflect this. Nor have I seen anything in my PayPal account or bank account that shows the new order amount. I am afraid I'm going to be charged twice - once for the first amount & again for the second. I'm not sure what I need to do to make sure that a) that doesn't happen & b) I am refunded the difference between the sale price & the sale + promo price.

I should not order anything before I have had my coffee!

    1. In my experience, if you get a PA before the item has shipped, you are only charged the lower amount, not both amounts, since they don't process the charge until your item ships. Your PayPal authorization may be for the higher amt, but only the lesser amt should be withdrawn. HTH-and enjoy your coffee ;)

    2. Thanks, Wendy! I had emailed CS (after I commented) & they said the same. But I'd rather hear it from someone who'd been through it! :)

  2. Loving the sale update this morning. Collection zip front leather top finally popped back in an 8. Have wanted to try this all winter. Fingers crossed it works since it seems to be a really versatile top. This is also another "note to self" to be patient & wait it out with JC. Can't think of a single item I wanted that hasn't eventually made it to a really good sale price.

    1. I hope it works out! That was a nice sale update today, finally, although I didn't find anything to buy this time. There were a few oldies, though - that Jules dress was one.

    2. @cate, I'm hoping too! I was so excited to see 2000+ items. Sale is so hit or miss, but I've had pretty good luck for fall & winter. Yeah, you can tell that one is old; there's not even a product description. It's still a mystery to me how those items "reappear."

    4. I've never seen this top when I look?! Only if I specifically search the name!

    5. I searched "begonia" and it came up along with the matching pants. It has popped back (in limited sizes) both yesterday and today.

    6. @jeannie, woot, woot is right!! I love this top. It ran tts for me; I'm tall (over 5'8"), 36C and wear a size 8. It reminds me of the fit of Vince shirts which are typically a relaxed fit. Some people size down with Vince, but I don't because I'm going for that look. I would not have sized down; top wears on me like the model. I've worn it casually (sleeves rolled up; found a 4 step guide for how to roll your sleeves like JC on Pinterest) with J Brand crop skinny jeans in fury (wear these to death) with black Gucci Mallory sandals. I've also paired with Vince leather crop leggings & Loubie slingbacks for date night. When I head back to work next week (we're on Spring Break), planning to pair it with the perforated eyelet midi skirt in crimson maple from Fall 2015 with the slingbacks. Will accessorize with wide black leather belt and multi-strand pearl necklace from Target. I think the options are endless; as the weather warms, I will wear with silk shorts and denim shorts. I think this top is a great choice (can you tell, ha!). I wear lots of Vince and this is very close in style. I also wrote a review on JC, so you can check that out too for more styling options with JC items.

  3. Shout out to customer service. My faux leather mini had no eye part of the hook. I emailed this morning, explaining how today the price is higher, as is the military trench I ordered in the same order but a larger size that would work better is now available. She told me to place the new order with expedited shipping and they'd cover shipping and give me the price I paid. (I placed the order before I even got the response because I didn't want the trench to sell out, but it was really nice to hear such a helpful response.)

    1. Their customer service really is the best! I recently had a similar experience in trying to find the right size for two pairs of pants that I'd ordered -- the rep. sent me two in Regular and two in the next size for Petite, with expedited shipping, at the price I paid. I was thrilled to finally find the right size! (PS, please post pix of the trench when you get the right one! I bought that one a while ago, but it's too long on me (at 4'11, many things are!)

    2. I'm so happy I was able to order the 4. If nothing else, I could use the length on the sleeves and torso.

  4. Just scored d'Orsay flats in a new festive green color for $41.00 dollars after Shopnow promo. Can Not Believe it.

    1. I was so tempted by those.

    2. I ordered those too! I figured they were a new color or at least I haven't noticed them. These will be my first Sloans so I hope I got the right size.

    3. I was tempted too but I'm trying to only buy items on my wish list. It really took strength to resist them!
