  2. So ordered a few things to see how they are. Can say the plaid bow flats are completely charming and TTS. The 1988 ivory roll neck sweater with stripes is pretty good. The Liberty print shirt may go back since reviews are saying it runs super small. The Jackie cardigan with pheasants will either be a cute choice for the Thanksgiving holiday or an embarrassing sweater with a bird on each breast.
The ruffle shirts will either be super cute like the two Insta photos I've seen of the white one or too much ruffle. I ordered the blue striped one only because it was selling out but the white one is the one I truly wanted. And finally, I've ordered the Regent blaze in plaid with velvet tie. I keep looking at it with the Plaid Bow flats and, what can I say, I'm weak!

    1. Sounds like a good order, curious to hear what you end up keeping/not liking!

    2. Oh Elizabeth I like the idea of the plaid regent blazer and shoes. Can anyone confirm if the two pieces, blazer & shoes, are the same fabric? That would make my matchy matchy self very happy.

  3. Just an FYI code TOPPICKS gets 25% off a factory order of $100 or more. Some cute new arrivals. I ordered the corduroy shirt dress, relaxed print pocket dress(not fond of the fabric but we will see), tie waist shirt dress( this will depend of the true color of vintage khaki), the floral pencil skirt in vivid ink wine and zoe calf hair d'orsay flats. Used my rewards in combination with extra 25% off so happy with the prices I am paying. Also happy two out the the three dresses are cotton or so the description says. Will report back in reviews next week after I receive.

    1. I'm interested in several Factory items as well and am happy to see they are increasingly using actual models to display their products. Still not all products - but this is positive and a move in the right direction

  4. Does it seem odd that the new signet bags are on the 40% promo today? I'm not complaining, just pleasantly surprised since they only recently came out. Oh well, happy shopping!

  5. I just wanted to chime in that I really like some of the new Fall line up. Sure many of offerings are either boring or ill fitting but there are some gems that I am loving. I love the new Ratti Geometric print, especially the skirt. This may be my rewards card purchase this season. I also like the ruffle sleeve sweater, and some of the new tippi prints. The new floral pencil skirt is also fabulous and it will be great for work. The print seems more spring-like, but the skirt was well made and flattering. Overall much in the store seems pretty uninspired, but these few pieces are great. I'm hoping for some better coat offerings in October. Hope everyone finds something they like too.

    1. That's the spirit bythelake! We can all find some gems hidden under all those ruffles.

    2. @bythelake I feel the same way. I always find a few things to love, plus I've already got so many great things. I feel just adding a few things now and then is more than enough. And while the OTS and cold shoulder trend is not for me I'm happy to see other things to love (I'm calling your name, camo)

    3. Oh boy... Outdoor Voices' quality is fantastic. I do hot yoga 5 days a week and have put their tanks and leggings through their paces. They have held up really well (I cold water wash after every class). Their pieces are comfortable, stay in place and don't fade/pill/hold on to sweat/odors.

I also purchased some JC x NB seamless tanks and performance capri leggings and to be honest, after about 3-4 wears of each I wish I could return them. The seams on the neck and shoulders of the tanks are rolling inward (can't seem to flatten them out once I'm wearing the tank) and the capris have rolled up at the hem and faded significantly even though I'm only washing them in cold water. I don't have this issue with OV, Athleta, GapFit, even Old Navy.

The SA's at my old B&M said that they heard that the JC x NB collab was made with NB's lower-quality line, which doesn't surprise me in the least. You can't cut corners with workout clothes and keep those high price points that OV has. If people want cheap workout wear, Old Navy has a lot of decent stuff. He needs to leave OV's quality alone.

  7. Forgot to post this yesterday - gap has a dupe of the ruffle front button up shirt in blue, stripe, and white. Not everyone's thing but a pretty good substitute.
